Become a volunteer facilitator. Volunteers, who often have personal experience with depression or bipolar disorder, facilitate our “open groups.” Guided by licensed staff Program Coordinators, facilitators undergo a thorough training program and attend continuing education classes.

To begin facilitating, DBSA Greater Houston asks that you participate in a support group for at least three to six months. After participating, you will begin the training program.
